Gampaha Branch Conducts Seminar

A meeting of the Gampaha Branch of the Coconut Grower’s Association of Sri Lanka was heald on 21st October 2023 at Deemotawa Estate, Pasyala. A representative from Sri Lanka Insurance Mr. Wimalarathne Spoke of Workers Compensation policies which cover resident and visiting labor when unexpected accidents occur on our properties.

There was a display and demonstration of “Pol Keki”- an extendable light weight Aluminum pole that could be used for picking coconuts, areca nuts and any type of fruit.

A new comer to the fertilizer market Dimo gave a presentation on their fertilizer mixes with more emphasis on their 2nd generation fertilizer coconut APM with Nitrophoska.

A Q&A session was held followed by fellowship and lunch
